U Marčanů restaurant

The restaurant is situated not far away from the Prague Castle and offers 180 seasts.

The party starts at around 7.30 p.m. And ends around 10 p.m.
There are 4 musicians playing the whole evening. The guests have an opportunity to see typical folk-instruments such as hammer-dulcimer, fujara and bag-pipe.

At the beginning the guests can listen to folk music from different parts of the country – Bohemian, Moravian, Slowak folk songs and folk dances, gipsy songs and gipsy dances, too. Then after a break international music is played according to the wishes of the guests, their nationality and their spirit. At the end, the visitors can listen to famous compositions of classical music, which were inspirated by folk music (Smetana, Dvořák, Brahms, Mozart etc.).

Menu:
Starter: „Halušky“ – typical country meal made from potatoes with ham and cabbage
Main course: Variety meat on the skewer, creamy baked potatoes, croquettes, sring beans with bacon
Dessert: Pancake with fruit, ice-cream and whipped cream
Aperitif: Becherovka, unlimited wine, beer, softdrinks during whole evening, coffee
